This summit will assist hospital executives, policy makers and their legal counsel to define best practices and offer guidance as to ways nonprofit hospitals can become stronger, healthier organizations, while providing charity care to Texans at an optimal level. The summit will also provide hospitals with guidance on new federal reporting requirements while offering advice on how best to serve their patients. Nonprofit hospital administrators, general counsel and interested staff are encouraged to attend this event.

Overview:You are invited to attend the 2009 Texas Crime Victim Services Conference sponsored by the Office of the Attorney General. This multi-disciplinary conference will offer information, instruction, and interaction on victim services and personal resiliency.

Registration Fee: $200 per personOverview: The Office of the Attorney General invites you to the 2009 Open Government Conference. This conference is designed for the general public, government employees and public officials, representatives of the media and companies doing business with Texas government. The conference will be held on December 14-15, 2009. This year’s conference will feature a 2-day format, meeting from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. each day.
Conference Registration: Online registration will be open in August 2009.Need A Speaker?
- The Attorney General's office may be able to provide a speaker for your organization on topics such as Child Support Enforcement, Identity Theft or Crime Victim's issues.
- In addition, training is available on topics such as the Crime Victim Compensation Program, Acknowledgement of Paternity, Juvenile Crime, and other issues.
- Availability will vary depending on location, staff schedules and expense involved.
