FUGITIVE APPREHENSION UNIT 

In Bexar County, Gabriella Esmeralda Cordova was arrested on November 15 with the help of the United States Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force. Cordova had outstanding warrants for Homicide, Attempted Capital Murder, and Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle. 

In Bexar County, Michael Joshua Stroud was arrested on November 10 on outstanding warrants for Count III Violation of Bond/Protective Order by Assault, Repeated Violation of Court Order, Count 1 Bond Increase Continuous Violence Against the Family, Count II Bond Increase Assault Family House Member Impede Breath Circulation, Failure to Appear, and Money Laundering. Stroud is a Latin Kings Gang Member. The United States Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force aided in his apprehension. 

In Dallas County, Nathan Mitchell was arrested on November 17 on an outstanding warrant for Murder and Bond Violation.  

In Galveston County, Leon Whetstone was arrested on November 16 on outstanding warrants for Aggravated Robbery and Harassment. The Gulf Coast Violent Offender Task Force aided in Whetstone’s apprehension.  

In Harris County, Adrian Joseph Deleon was arrested on November 30 for outstanding warrant for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle. Deleon is a registered Sex Offender and is currently on parole for Online Solicitation of a Minor Sexual Conduct out of Jackson County. 

In Harris County, Jerrick Dashawn White was arrested on November 9 with outstanding warrants for Robbery, Bodily Injury, two counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1, Evading Arrest, and Indecent Exposure. White is a confirmed Forum Park Crips Gang member. The Gulf Coast Violent Offender Task Force aided in White’s apprehension.  

In Smith County, Steve Ray Swindle was arrested on November 17 on outstanding warrants for Assault on a Security Officer, Bond Forfeiture, and Harassment of a Public Servant. The Joint East Texas Fugitive Task Force aided in Swindle’s apprehension.  

In Tarrant County, Robert Daniel Price was arrested on November 10 after a warrant was issued for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender. Price was convicted of Aggravated Indecent Assault (Child Victim) in Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania, in 2001. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison, but recently failed to maintain sex offender registration requirements. 

In Williamson County, Roy Franklin Walters was arrested on November 10. Walters violated the conditions of his parole by failing a drug test and a corresponding Parole Violation warrant was issued. Walters was convicted of Online Impersonation Name/Persona Create Page, a 3rd Degree Felony, and was sentenced to five years on probation. He was later sentenced to four years in prison and had an outstanding warrant for Fraud/False Drug Test Falsification Device. 

 In Williamson County, Charlene Lannette Jones was arrested on November 18 on an outstanding warrant for Bail Secured Bond, Sex Offense Child Fondling/Indecency with Child Sexual Contact. The United States Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force assisted with Jones’ apprehension. 

SPECIAL CRIMES UNIT 

In Hill County, the Special Crimes Unit aided in an operation in Hubbard, Texas, in search of Ameera Deadrick, a young girl who has been missing since 2016. On November 30, the Texas Attorney General’s office arrived with a warrant and about 60 investigators to scour a ten-acre area, which allowed them to find evidence that could lead to more information regarding her disappearance. The case was referred to the office by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
