How did you get to be AG?

The first thing is I went to college and got a college degree. Then I went on to Law School. I practiced law in Houston, Texas, for about 7 or 8 years, and then I became a trial court judge, where I presided over cases where people would come in and say I should win or the other person would say they should win, and I would decide who wins. After doing that for about three years, I went on to the highest court in the State of Texas, the Texas Supreme Court, and served there for almost 6 years. Then in 2002, I was elected to be the Texas Attorney General, and I've got to tell you, I love the job very, very much.
