Presidents Day - 3rd Monday in February


For many years, Americans celebrated the birthdays of two of our most famous and beloved presidents, George Washington and Abraham Lincoln. Their birthdays were both in February. In 1968, Congress passed a law combining the two holidays. The new holiday is known as Presidents Day, and on that day we honor all US presidents.
