Texas Law Enforcement Officers Arrest One of State’s Top Ten Most Wanted Fugitives
DALLAS Law enforcement officers with the Texas Attorney General’s Fugitive Apprehension Unit and the Duncanville Police Department successfully located and arrested one of the Texas Department of Public Safety’s Most Wanted Fugitives. Fredrick Lee Davis, 25, was arrested Wednesday in Duncanville and booked into the Dallas County Correctional Facility.
Earlier this week, the Texas Department of Criminal Justice’s Parole Division issued an arrest warrant against Davis for violating his parole requirements and absconding. Fugitive Unit and Duncanville police officers collaborated to locate and apprehend Davis Wednesday at a Duncanville residence.
Davis, who law enforcement authorities considered an armed and dangerous suspect, was added to DPS’s Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list this month. According to DPS, Davis’s criminal history includes the following offenses: aggravated assault with a deadly weapon; assault causing bodily injury to a family member; burglary of a habitation; unauthorized use of a vehicle; possession of marijuana; abandon/endanger a child without intent to return; and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.
