The presenter will demonstrate how to use the multi-functional search box to find a document, research an issue, as well as how to use the new results display.  This course will also show how to verify research using KeyCite, as well as how to use the new document toolbar and other resources.

This course has been approved for 1.0 hour of MCLE credit by the State Bar of Texas' MCLE Department.

Lawyers experience the highest rate of depression for persons in any profession.  This video presentation examines the reasons for this phenomenon, including workload and burnout issues, the combative nature of the adversary system, and even the natures of types of personalities that are attracted to the practice of law.

This presentation is being offered as part of the OAG Wellness Fair and has been approved for .50 hour of ethics credit by the State Bar of Texas' MCLE Department.

Preserving Error at Trial

This course will address preservation of error in state court during jury and bench trials.  The course will include discussions of error preservation in jury selection, offers of exhibits and trial testimony, and jury charges, as well as a brief survey of post-trial error preservation techniques.
