How to Have a Successful Mediation

This course will cover tactics for success during all aspects of mediation, from choosing the mediator, pre-mediation preparation, and presenting your case during the mediation to preparing the settlement agreement and avoiding potential settlement pitfalls. 

Sam Graham has been a mediator for over twenty years and currently teaches law internationally as  Fulbright Scholar.  

This course has been approved for 1.0 hour of MCLE credit, including .5 ethics hour, by the State Bar of Texas' MCLE Department.

Post-Trial Steps and Strategies in State Court

This course will address post-trial motions and proceedings in State court from the time of the jury verdict/court decision to the filing of the appellate record.  The aim of this course is to assist attorneys who have not had much appellate experience to know "what to do now" after a trial has concluded in order for the client to be in the best possible posture for appeal, whether as an appellant or an appellee.  

Cynthia Morales is an Assistant Attorney General in the Financial Litigation, Tax, and Charitable Trusts Division.
