Law Enforcement Response to People with Mental Illnesses

The Council of State Governments has released “The Law Enforcement Response to People with Mental Illnesses: A Guide to Research-informed Policy and Practice.” It offers evidence-based practices for safe and effective interventions with people who are mentally ill (including victims and offenders).
