2024 Public Information Act Business Days Webinar

Texas Attorney General’s Open Records Division hosted a free Microsoft Teams based webinar to discuss recent legislative changes to the Public Information Act. The presentation focused on section 552.0031 of the Government Code, the definition of business days under the Public Information Act.  This webinar included an overview of the definition of business days and practical examples. Participants had an opportunity to ask questions regarding business days at the end of the presentation. You needed to register to attend this free webinar. A link to join the meeting was emailed on the morning of May 7. This event was recorded. 2024 Open Government Conference

December 3 and 4th, 2024

The Office of the Attorney General’s Open Records Division is hosting a two-day conference. This event is designed for the public, government employees and public officials, representatives of the media, and companies doing business with Texas government. The conference addresses the needs and concerns of all governmental bodies regarding Open Government and related legislation.
