The Office of the Attorney General (OAG) hosts three paid law fellowships, including two in honor of Gregory S. Coleman, the first solicitor general of Texas. To be eligible for a fellowship, a candidate must be a rising 3L or a graduate of an accredited law school and have excellent academic records. Selected candidates typically start an OAG fellowship immediately after graduating from law school or after completing a judicial clerkship.
Fellowship applications must include a cover letter, résumé, and law school transcript. Selected interviewees must provide a writing sample and complete a State of Texas Application for Employment.
