The Office of the Attorney General provides monthly victim services training for professionals who work with crime victims.
This introductory course for victim advocates, service providers, and law enforcement personnel offers a comprehensive overview of the Office of the Attorney General's victim services. Crime Victims' Compensation, Presumptive Eligibility, Victim Rights and the Address Confidentiality Program are examples of the topics covered.
Through this training, we aim to equip professionals with the knowledge to:
- Provide effective assistance to victims accessing the Crime Victims' Compensation Program
- Promote and recognize victims' rights
- Provide information about the Address Confidentiality Program
