Advisory On School Safety For Texas Students
Advisory intended to educate parents about some of the legal requirements state law places on school districts to prepare and train staff and students for incidents of school violence.
The Office of the Attorney General is committed to assisting school administrators, parents and students in their efforts to find practical ideas and workable solutions to help prevent school violence. The Office of the Attorney General serves on the Advisory Board of the Texas School Safety Center (TxSSC), its mission is to serve schools and communities to create safe, secure, and healthy environments. Since its inception in 1999, our office has worked with the Texas School Safety Center on providing training and resources to Texas schools.
