Acknowledgment of Paternity (AOP) Training Seminar

Texas law requires annual certification for each individual who registers births and speaks with unwed parents about establishing a legal relationship between a child and his or her biological father using an Acknowledgment of Paternity (AOP) form. AOP certification is also a requirement for the Texas Vital Statistics' Birth Registrar Certification. To become AOP certified, you must pass a certification exam after participating in an AOP training course.

Below, you will find links to the AOP Summer Seminar Registration Form and the AOP Summer Seminar Schedule detailing the locations, dates and times of AOP training seminars being held in Texas this summer.

Please complete the registration form and email or fax it to the contact person listed for the area where you wish to attend an AOP training session. While we are unable to provide confirmation to registrants, we look forward to your attendance.
