Acknowledgment of Paternity (AOP) Training Seminar

Texas law requires annual certification for each individual who registers births and who talks to unwed parents about establishing the legal relationship between a child and his/her biological father using an AOP form. AOP certification is also a requirement for the Texas Vital Statistics' Birth Registrar Certification. To become AOP certified, you must pass a certification exam after participating in an AOP training course.

Below you will find a list of seminar locations, dates and times as well as a registration form. You must complete the registration form and fax it to the Paternity Outreach Coordinator in the area where you will attend the AOP training session. Register only once. While we are unable to provide confirmation to the registrants, we look forward to your attendance.

If you have any questions or need more information, call (512) 460-6523.
