The Human Trafficking and Transnational/Organized Crime Section’s goal is to help human trafficking prosecutions across the state. We have prosecutors on staff who are available to travel across the state, and support staff to assist as well. We also work closely with the Human Trafficking Criminal Investigations Division, so we have investigators available to help with any human trafficking investigation in Texas.
We are available to help in several ways:
- Train prosecutors and investigators across the state. We are available to come and train in your jurisdiction. Contact us to schedule a training.
- Assist with cases, by being a second chair and assisting with prosecutions.
- We can, as always, take the lead on prosecutions, at the District Attorney’s invitation.
- We have an email, [email protected], to answer questions from law enforcement and prosecutors as trafficking cases are encountered across the state.
- We have prevention materials available for you to use.
