The public health emergency related to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Governor Greg Abbott issued an Executive Order relating to COVID-19, and local Collin County Judge Chris Hill has issued a disaster declaration for Collin County, effective March 16, 2020, an executive order for Collin County, effective March 20, 2020, and additional stay-at-home orders for Collin County, effective March 24, 2020. Accordingly, Collin College resources are primarily focused on providing academic continuity and essential operations. Further, Collin College has limited staffing and resources available due to key personnel working remotely.
