Attorney General Ken Paxton today congratulated Paul Singer, chief of the Consumer Protection Division of his office, after he received the Faculty of the Year Award from the National Attorneys General Training and Research Institute (NAGTRI), a training branch of the National Association of Attorneys General (NAAG).

NAGTRI honored Singer for his significant contributions to developing and presenting high-quality legal training programs for his counterparts across the country. Singer helped to provide attorneys with information vital to protecting consumers and holding those who take advantage of them accountable.

“Protecting consumers is an essential part of our mission, and I’m proud that Paul’s exceptional efforts to deter and halt deceptive practices have been recognized on a national level,” Attorney General Paxton said. “We thank NAAG for honoring Paul’s dedication to sharing his time, knowledge and expertise with attorneys across the nation. Paul is an invaluable leader in his field and well deserving of this recognition.”

Singer received the award Thursday night during the NAAG summer meeting in Portland, Oregon.
